Banque Misr is an Egyptian bank founded by industrialist Talaat Pasha Harb in 1920. Harb established Misr Bank and its companies on the basis of certain concepts: all its dealings were in Arabic, Egyptians operated the bank, and the bank restricted share ownership to Egyptian citizens. Our aim is to serve the financial needs of our customers, and play a leading role in the prosperity and development of the countries in which we operate.
